Terms of Service

This is the agreement between you and the company behind MindZone. It's written to be read, not to hide behind. The short version: MindZone is an early experiment, it is not medical care, use it sensibly and at your own risk, we own the product, and either of us can walk away. The full version follows.

The one line that matters most: MindZone is not a medical device and its sessions are not treatment. If you have a seizure history, a heart condition, or any medical concern, talk to a doctor before using it, and never use it while driving or operating machinery.

01Who this is with, and agreeing to it

MindZone AI is operated by Aiora Technologies LLC ("Aiora", "we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA and operating from Paphos, Cyprus. By creating an account or using MindZone, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with something here, the honest answer is: don't use the service. There's no fine print that changes that.

Age. You must be at least 13 to use MindZone. If you are under 18, you may only take part with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who has read the safety notice, and they accept these terms on your behalf. We don't knowingly allow anyone under 13, and if we learn a younger child has signed up we'll delete the account. Because the visual engine can flash light, we ask minors and their guardians to take the photosensitivity warning in section 03 seriously.

02What MindZone is

MindZone turns a plain-language goal into a structured session: synthesized audio, and optionally light and a breathing guide, generated by a signal-processing engine. It's a tool for focus, rest, and relaxation. That is the whole claim. It is not therapy, diagnosis, or treatment for any condition, and nothing it produces should be read as medical, psychological, or health advice.

03Health, safety, and honest limits

04This is an alpha

MindZone is early software offered to a small group of testers. That means, plainly: features change or disappear, sessions can fail to render, the service can go down, and data can occasionally be lost. We keep as little of your data as possible (see the Privacy Policy) partly for this reason. Treat anything you generate as temporary.

If we offered you a perk for testing, such as extended access in exchange for feedback, we'll honor it in good faith. It isn't a purchased entitlement and can be adjusted if the program changes; we won't do so to punish honest feedback.

05Your account

Keep your password to yourself and don't share your login. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at aioraownr@gmail.com if you think someone else has access. We may suspend or close an account that is used to attack the service or other users (see acceptable use below).

06Acceptable use

Use MindZone for yourself, in good faith. Don't:

07Who owns what

We own MindZone. The engine, the software, the DSP and strategy logic, the designs, the name, and the look are the property of Aiora Technologies LLC. MindZone AI is a wholly owned product of Aiora Technologies LLC. These terms don't give you any ownership of it, only permission to use it while these terms are in effect.

You keep your prompts. The text you type stays yours. By submitting it you give us permission to process it to run and improve the service. We don't sell it and we don't claim it as ours. The audio a session produces is yours to keep and use for your own personal, non-commercial listening.

08Third-party services

Some features rely on others: OpenAI processes your prompt when you choose the GPT strategy, and wearable providers (Oura and similar) supply recovery data when you connect them. Their terms govern their part. You can avoid the OpenAI path entirely by using the offline Heuristic strategy. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what leaves our server and when.

09No warranty

MindZone is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk. Some places don't allow certain warranties to be excluded; where that's the case, this section applies as far as the law allows.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Aiora Technologies LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of MindZone. Because the service is currently free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past twelve months (which for a free alpha is zero) or one hundred euros. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

11Indemnity

If your misuse of MindZone, or your breach of these terms, causes a claim against us from a third party, you agree to cover the reasonable costs we incur defending it. In plain terms: don't use the service to harm others and then leave us holding the bill.

12Ending it

You can stop any time: email us and we'll delete your account and its data (real deletion, per the Privacy Policy). We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service, and we'll give reasonable notice where we can. The sections that should outlive the account, ownership, no-warranty, liability, and indemnity, survive termination.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, where Aiora Technologies LLC is registered, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have where you live. If you're in the EU or UK, your local rights (including under the GDPR) still apply and are not waived by this section. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

14Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product grows. If a change is significant, we'll post it here and, where it matters, tell you by email before it takes effect. The date at the top is the source of truth for the current version. This page is published in English; if any translation conflicts with it, the English text governs.
