How to use MindZone

MindZone has three channels. They run on the same engine and only differ in how the session reaches you. Pick one, type what you want, and the engine builds the rest.

Quick start
01
Choose a channel
Open Meta and pick MindWave for audio, MindField for audio with visuals, or MindSight for visuals led by breath.
02
Describe your session
Type one line: how long, what you're doing, and how you want to feel. Or tap a preset chip to fill it in for you.
03
Generate and play
Press Generate and keep the page open while it renders. When it's ready, play it in the browser or download it for later.
The three channels
01
MindWave
Audio on its own. People reach for it to focus, fall asleep, settle down, or drop into a creative flow. Any headphones or speakers will do.
02
MindField
Audio and visuals together. Of the three, this is the one we lean on for deep concentration and real learning. Best with headphones in a dim room.
03
MindSight
Light and breath lead the way, with audio optional. It works for winding down, meditating, or just resetting after a long day.
Writing a good prompt
01
Mention the duration
A duration phrase such as "20 minutes" or "1 hour" anchors the session length. If no duration is provided, the engine applies a default per state: 25 minutes for focus, 45 minutes for sleep, and 20 minutes for meditation.
02
Describe the activity
The activity context selects the brainwave arc. Example phrases include "studying maths", "writing an essay", "winding down for bed", and "before a presentation".
03
Say how you want to feel
The mood phrase adjusts tempo, instrument selection, and amplitude-modulation depth. Example phrases include "alert but not jittery", "deeply relaxed", "energised", and "calm and creative".

A good prompt for each channel
MindWave
Audio
Lead with the goal, duration, and mood. Example: "45 minute focus session for studying calculus, alert but not jittery, no melodies."
MindField
Audio + Visual
Pair the goal with the modality you want to lean on. Example: "30 minute combined learning session, 40 Hz gamma bursts in the middle, dim warm light."
MindSight
Visual + Breath
Describe what you want to feel and what you want to see. Example: "20 minute wind-down before bed, slow breath pacer, warm fractal field, no audio."

Controls
ControlOptionsWhat it changes
StrategyLLM · HeuristicHow your prompt is read. The model infers intent; Heuristic uses an offline keyword map.
IntensityLow · Med · HighAmplitude-modulation depth, how present the entrainment feels under the audio.
SoundVibrations · MusicalPure ambient entrainment, or a tempo-locked beat layered on top. (MindWave / MindField)
FormatMP3 · WAVCompressed 192 kbps for quick download, or lossless for archival.
Interface symbols
Dot marker
Appears beside the three default options: GPT-4.1-mini strategy, Medium intensity, and Vibrations sound. These are the recommended defaults when no preference is set. Any of them may be changed.
Preset chips
The dashed pills under the prompt are ready-made examples. Selecting one fills the field; you can edit the text before generating.
⚠︎
Warning banner
Appears when the prompt does not match a session request. Adding a duration and an activity, such as "20 minute focus for maths", clears the warning.
LLM
LLM badge
Indicates the GPT-4.1-mini strategy mode. The model parses the prompt and selects the brainwave arc. The Heuristic alternative uses a built-in keyword map and runs without a network call.
▶︎
Play / Hide
Plays the rendered session in the browser. The label changes to ■︎ Hide while audio is playing. A second press stops playback and collapses the controls.
↓︎
Download
Saves the rendered session to the device as MP3 or WAV, depending on the format selected before generation.
↗︎
Generate
Starts the render. Keep the page open while the progress bar moves. Closing the tab or switching apps can interrupt the job.

Visual flicker (PSE)
On MindField and MindSight a flicker layer stays off by default. It only activates after you confirm a short photosensitivity notice, and can be switched off again at any time. If you are sensitive to flashing light, leave it disabled.
